This interactive session offers a clear overview of critical startup steps including how to create a business plan, navigate licensing and local regulations, and develop effective marketing strategies. It also covers essential financial topics such as understanding financial statements, managing cash flow, preparing for funding opportunities, and identifying valuable business resources to support long-term success.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) offers one on one no-cost counseling to entrepreneurs in all stages of their business cycle, whether they are beginning their business endeavors or are looking to grow their existing operations. The SBDC provides one-on-one counseling centered on the business planning process, including financing, market research, marketing strategies, and management and cash flow analysis. A Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce membership is not required to utilize these services.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;i&gt;Sydney&amp;rsquo;s education is varied.&amp;nbsp; Her undergraduate degree is from The Ohio State University in Ceramics and Art History. She has an EMBA from the University of Toledo and a master&amp;rsquo;s and Ph.D. from the University of Phoenix in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;i&gt;Sydney&amp;rsquo;s personal interests include art, art history, and the outdoors. She is particularly interested in the art of the American West and spending time outside in the mountains or riding horses. She is a member of the Toledo Potters Guild and enjoys throwing in her spare time.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
