The Toledo SBDC Business Blueprint workshop is tailored for aspiring entrepreneurs who need guidance in launching their business. This interactive session offers a clear overview of critical startup steps including how to create a business plan, navigate licensing and local regulations, and develop effective marketing strategies. It also covers essential financial topics such as understanding financial statements, managing cash flow, preparing for funding opportunities, and identifying valuable business resources to support long-term success.

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) offers one on one no-cost counseling to entrepreneurs in all stages of their business cycle, whether they are beginning their business endeavors or are looking to grow their existing operations. The SBDC provides one-on-one counseling centered on the business planning process, including financing, market research, marketing strategies, and management and cash flow analysis. A Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce membership is not required to utilize these services.

2025 Clambake presented by PNC | Schedule of Events

4:30 p.m. | Registration Opens

5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. | Cocktail Hour in Africa! Overlook
6:00 p.m. | Buffet Opens & the fun begins inside of the Malawi Event Center!

A few important event details:

- This is a "rain or shine" event

- Dress is summer casual - ex: shorts, polos, summer dresses, capris

- Cocktail hour, with appetizers and live music begins at 5:00 p.m.

- Cocktails are available for purchase by credit card only.

Parking is complimentary in the Anthony Wayne Trail parking lot. Proceed toward the Malawi Event Center, which is located on the same side of the Anthony Wayne Trail as the parking lot. Chamber staff will be there to greet and direct you. No need to utilize the bridge or tunnel to cross back over the trail to the other side of the zoo. The zoo closes to the public at 5 p.m.; visitors may be leaving at this time. Individuals who need/want assistance can be dropped off at the zoo entrance and will be transported via golf carts to the Malawi Event Center. Check-in is located at the table in front of the carousel by providing your name. This is a ticket-less event. In case of inclement weather, check-in will be inside of the Malawi Event Center.

Head to our second boss talk of the year to learn more about the life and journey of Toledo figurehead Jim Ravas! Jim has worked hard to uplift the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo, and he is excited to share his journey with EPIC Toledo. The National Museum of the Great Lakes is hosting the event, and will be raffling off one free museum membership to one attendee.

This event is a lunch, with wraps, salad, chips, water, soda, and vegetarian options provided. Your ticket pricing goes toward your lunch!
