Downtown’s residents, workers, visitors and guests will be welcomed on Thursdays at Levis Square Park for the largest work-day event in downtown. Live entertainment, food trucks, games and other activities are highlights of the biggest event during the workweek. Located in Levis Square Park, at the corner of St. Clair Street and Madison Avenue, the event is in the heart of downtown. “With more than 2,000 people attending weekly, many stating that “it’s the highlight of their workweek.” we’re excited to bring this event to downtown”, says Cindy Kerr, vice president. Attendees are encouraged to pick up a meal to go from a nearby restaurant or from a contracted food truck. The event runs nearly every Thursday beginning June 2 through September 22, beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at 1:30 p.m. This year’s lineup includes: June 2 – Kyle White June 9 – Caveman Chris Jaquillard June 16 – Andrew Ellis June 23 – Katie's Randy Cat June 30 – The Good, The Bad & The Blues July 7 – Chloe and the Steel Strings July 14 – Not Fast Enuff July 21 – Arctic Clam July 28 – Ben DeLong August 4 – Johnny Rodriguez August 18 – Trez & Ramona August 25 – Glass City Steel September 1 – Extra Stout September 8 – The Skittle Bots September 15 – Three's Kin September 22 – Tony Salazar Cindy Kerr will be available for interviews during the event.
