Shumaker is announcing new regional service line leaders to meet this growing need to help clients successfully navigate through new legal challenges. “Helping clients and businesses stay ahead of legal trends is vital to their success,” Chairman Tom Dillon said. “It is exciting to see Shumaker continuing to expand throughout Ohio and regionally.” Partner Rebecca Shope will serve as the Regional Leader of the Labor, Employment and Benefits Service Line, with Partner Scott Newsom named Team Leader for Benefits. “As the workplace continues to evolve, our team offers clients a wide range of legal services to manage the complex relationship between employers and employees. Our attorneys provide advice and implement strategies that reflect our deep understanding of the businesses we serve,” shared Rebecca. “Employee benefits and executive compensation is a specialty that requires particular expertise. He has extensive experience in leading strategies to navigate the constantly developing areas of employee benefits and executive compensation.” In addition, Shumaker has named Partner Beth Eckel as the Regional Leader of the Real Estate and Development Service Line. “The real estate industry is booming right now as the demand for new construction and developments continues to rise, we have a team of intelligent and dynamic attorneys and legal professionals who can navigate the most complex transactions.
