Colin McHugh, CPA, will fill the role of Principal of Assurance and Financial Reporting. A member of the Rehmann team since 2012, McHugh manages audit, review and agreed-upon procedure engagements. He also supervises employee benefit plan audits. In addition, McHugh advises on revenue recognition, lease implementation, and internal controls standards, helping clients navigate impacts to business operations. He is a member of the firm’s manufacturing and construction contractor niches, additionally Colin serves on the firm’s strategic planning committee, and assists with technical assurance training throughout the firm, while also leading Rehmann’s recruiting efforts at the University of Toledo. Colin recently joined the Board of the Erie Shores Council Boy Scouts of America and was the former Chair of the Ohio Society of Young CPAs.
