Please join us on September 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. for the Grand Opening of our most recent project – the complete renovation of 343 Western Avenue.

This Grand Opening House Rehabilitation project has been the culmination of a concerted effort by St. John’s Jesuit – The Labre Project, University of Toledo Community Cares Clinic, Matt Dewood of Home Pro Northwest Ohio and the Historic South Initiative.

There have been many partners in this effort including the Lucas County Land Bank, LISC, Department of Neighborhoods, The Jennite Company, All Ohio Ready Mix Concrete, Owens Corning, Kuhlman Corporation, the University of Toledo Foundation, the Broadway Corridor Coalition, Dan Anderson, Dr. Richard Paat, and Ken Vierling, Sr. and his Operative Plasterers and Cement Masons Local 886.

As you will see, this house, which will become the home to 11 family members, has been completely transformed. This project highlights the vision of Historic South in its effort to help transform this neighborhood and the Old South End.
