Rudolph Libbe Group was proud to support AJ Benko, a Troop 198 Boy Scout, so he could complete his Eagle Scout project to build a permanent Kickback Practice Wall at Perrysburg Soccer Club. AJ received numerous donations of materials, labor and money for the wall, which helps soccer players practice a variety of kicks with the ball coming right back at them. Our team worked with Buck and Knobby JCB to obtain a donated skid steer and auger. We provided a carpenter and an operator for the day to auger the holes and set/brace the posts as well as labor to assist in pouring concrete around the posts. AJ, with help from family and friends, completed the project over his Spring break at the Perrysburg Soccer Fields and it looks great! Rudolph Libbe Group co-ops acquire a wealth of valuable experience during their time with us. Among those are demonstrations of our construction technology such as drones, virtual reality, building information modeling, augmented reality, as well as visits to active worksites to get a feel for what it’s like to be in the field. Co-ops recently walked through the Lake Elementary School worksite where they first were advised of the safety requirements to visit the site and then heard about various phases of the project. These experiences help them prepare for the start of their professional careers once they graduate.
