He spent decades planting and nurturing trees, often facing challenges such as floods and animal attacks. Despite these obstacles, he remained committed to his goal and continued to work tirelessly to achieve it. 3. Initiative: Payeng took the initiative to start his work, even though it was not part of any official government or non-profit program. He saw a problem - the lack of trees on the island - and took action to solve it, using his own resources and initiative.
