Event Description: If your company offered an insurance plan on March 23, 2010 and you have not made any significant changes to benefits offered, cost-sharing, co-insurance, deductibles and/or employer contributions you may qualify for "Grandfathered" status. If you continue to offer a grandfathered plan, you will be exempt from many of the provisions of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) including the mandates to offer “essential health benefits”, limit deductibles, and be community rated.

It is very important to review both the advantages and disadvantages of the exempted mandates.  To help you do so, the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce and Medical Mutual are offering a free webinar on “The Advantages of Retaining Grandfathered Status” on Tuesday April 23rd from 1:00-2:30 pm.
