Event Description: Coming This Fall to a Workplace Near You:  New Regulations!

Thursday, October 6     8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Get ready for this regulatory triple feature:
  • It may be against the law for you to ask how an employee's mother is doing
  • Your employees can now download a smartphone app to calculate their hours
  • There are new posting requirements from the National Labor Relations Board that businesses need to comply with by November 14, 2011

To help you learn more about these new regulations, please join us for a seminar on Thursday, October 6, 2011 hosted by the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce's Workplace Regulations Committee.  Our speaker will be Jim Yates, an attorney with Eastman & Smith, Ltd, specializing in workplace law and chair of the Workplace Regulations Committee.  This informative session will be held on the 8th Floor of the Toledo Edison Building (300 Madison Avenue).

Cost is $15 per person.
