Mondays, January 11 through March 15, 2010 (10 week course) 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Good Leaders. Good Government. Isn't that what we want for our community?
This 10-week course outlines the basic issues, requirements, expectations and practices associated with various types of public service. If you are a current public official, private citizen considering running for public office, an individual appointed to a board, commission or committee or anyone employed in a position that requires interaction with elected officials -- you need to enroll in Leadership Academy 2010. Learn how to become a good leader and create good government.
Classes will be held every Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a light meal served at 5:30 p.m. prior to each class.
All sessions will be held at the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce. Convenient parking will be available underneath our building. The parking garage is accessible from Summit Street and is offered at no cost to class participants. Parking is provided by Toledo Edison, a FirstEnergy Company.
Cost for the 10-week course is $250 per person -- a great bargain when compared to similar programs featuring expert speakers.
