Fresh, Chef-Inspired Meal Kits Available Jan. 10 at Select Locations WESTERVILLE, OH (Jan. 10, 2018) — Today, Kroger announced that its successful meal kit offering, Prep+Pared™, is now available at five Toledo-area locations and will expand to an additional five locations by Jan. 12. The meal kits are 100 percent measured and prepped, which means little-to-no knife skills are needed. “Prep+Pared is the answer to the question, ‘What’s for dinner tonight?’ said Kroger Columbus Division VP of Merchandising John Minea. “The menu of high-quality, chef-inspired recipes rotate with the seasons so our customers will not get bored. The meal kits contain fresh ingredients and can be on the table in 20 minutes or less, one of the shortest prep times of any meal kit on the market.” Each meal kit feeds two adults. There are currently eight recipes available to purchase: Pan-Roasted Coriander Chicken, Island Blackened Cod, Rosemary Turkey Meatballs, Black Bean Street Cakes, Shrimp Scampi, Carne Asada Steak, Bacon + Honey Mustard Glazed Chicken and Mushroom Stroganoff. There is no subscription required to purchase the meal kits; they are competitively priced starting at $14.
