IT’S TIME TO NOMINATE AN OVER-ACHIEVER! Sponsors of the 22nd annual 20 Under 40 Leadership Recognition Program are accepting nominations now through June 12, 2017 for the event that salutes young, dynamic leaders of our region under the age of 40. The 20 Under 40 program focuses on individuals who have distinguished themselves in their careers and/or as volunteers in the community. Joining as sponsors in the effort to further motivate young leaders through this program are the University of Toledo Alumni Association and Sauder Woodworking Co. Nominating is fast, easy and a great way to recognize deserving young leaders. Minimal information is required—name, company and email address. To submit your nomination, go to www.20under40toledo.com and complete the electronic form by Monday, June 12. To be eligible, candidates must be under 40 years of age as of June 30, 2017. Those nominated will be required to complete a profile with information on their career, achievements and community involvement. An independent panel of judges then selects the 20 candidates for recognition. “We believe that our region has an abundance of talented young people. We joined forces with 20 Under 40 to promote and expand the recognition of these individuals who contribute so much to their employers and community,” said Kevin Sauder, President/CEO, Sauder Woodworking Co. Said Dan Saevig, Executive Director of the University of Toledo Alumni Association, “We have a number of successful UT grads and we encourage the community to recognize them and others by nominating them for this award.” The Recognition Program will take place at the Valentine Theatre on September 28, 2017. Alumni celebrating their 5th (2012), 10th (2007), 15th (2002) and 20th (1997) anniversaries will receive special recognition. Go to www.20under40toledo.com for a complete list of past awardees.
