HUGE collectable train & toy show returns to Owens Community College (Student Health & Activities Center) 30335 Oregon Road, Perrysburg, OH 43551 Public Show: 11am - 3pm Sunday, March 12th, 2017 TOOT! TOOT! ALL ABOARD! The Fun Express is about to depart to the GREATER TOLEDO TRAIN & TOY SHOW! Grown-ups and kids alike are sure to have a “family fun day for all” at the Student Health & Activities Center at Owens Community College on Sunday, March 12th, 2017. This first-class show features over 250 dealers bringing toy and model trains of all gauges and manufacturers as well as toys from all eras: plastic, tin, die-cast, pop culture and so much more! Free appraisals and repair advice on site will be offered as well as original parts for sale! There’s a wide selection of distinctive toys and trains at this show just waiting to be added to your own collection! Parents and grandparents will surely relive memories from long ago when they see many wonderful toys and operating displays from their own childhood. Bring along the kids and an extra special time awaits you showing the youngsters old-time toys in operation they would otherwise never see today. Many famous layouts and exhibits will be operating all day long, including: Must-see-to-believe operating “LEGO Big City” layout presented by the Michigan Lego Users Group. Featuring Toledo's very own One Government Center Building! (This was the gigantic holiday Lego exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum and it’s coming to Toledo!) The Toledo tradition lives on with Toledo Toymaster's wonderful Tiedtke’s Department Store American Flyer antique operating post war “S” gauge train display! Rare, operating 1950 Lionel Toy Train Store Display featuring original, antique post war Lionel “O“ gauge toy trains just as they used to run in store windows! Randy Sauder's "Coney Island" tabletop operating miniature Amusement Park. A whole amusement park fit into a table top trunk! All mechanical, no computers here! A one-of-a-kind exhibit that Toledo will be honored to see. Fascinating operating layouts from area groups in all gauges of toy trains from “N” to “G” scale and everything in between! Including the Toledo Zoo's Lights Before Christmas group Swanton Model RR Club. Vintage rare, A.C. Gilbert Erector Set display area featuring toys from the 1920’s presented by members of the AC Gilbert Heritage Society. Robotics demonstrations from the award-winning robotics team from TPS's Toledo Technology Academy! FREE rides for little ones (age 4 & younger) on “Thomas” Riding Trains in our kiddie area! Romick Railways outdoor riding train (ticket required and weather permitting) …and much more! This is a must see event you will not want to miss! Adult admission on March 12th starting at 11am is just $6 each. “Early Birds” are admitted at 9am for $10 each. All children ages 12 & under are admitted to the show FREE (with one paid adult admission). The show runs until 3pm. So, no matter what your age, everyone can be a kid again and enjoy a special unique and fun experience.
