At its regular meeting scheduled for 4:00 p.m. tomorrow, Toledo City Council will likely vote on the following legislation: • Ordinance 397-16, which would close the Erie Street Market Fund and transfer $190,000 remaining in that Fund to the General Fund. The Erie Street Market Fund is no longer needed as the facility was sold to IBC Inc. last year. • Ordinance 406-16 which would approve $58,267 from the Sanitary Sewer Infrastructure Development Fund to assist the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority with costs associated with replacing a waterline at the Overland Industrial Park. The waterline installation project is in connection with the relocation of Jeep Parkway. • Ordinance 408-16 which would authorize issuance and sale of $24,000,000 in notes for paying part of the 2016 costs of street lighting, sprinkling, sweeping, cleaning, snow removal, and maintenance of trees along streets. The notes would be issued and sold in anticipation of the levy and collection of special assessments. Ordinance 407-16, which would designate the Birckhead and Bronson Place neighborhood as a Community Reinvestment Area (CRA), will likely be referred to the Neighborhoods, Community Development and Health Committee. The ordinance would also authorize tax exemptions for residential remodeling and new construction in the area. The CRA would roughly be bounded by Central Avenue to the north, Mettler Street to the south, Cherry Street to the east, and Warsaw Street to the west. All Council meetings are held in Council Chambers on the first floor of One Government Center, located on Jackson Boulevard in downtown Toledo.
