The 16th edition of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Academy will begin in January. Registration is now open for this 10-week program, which to date has graduated 285 leaders from around the Toledo Region. The Leadership Academy, also sponsored by the Chamber’s Leadership Fund political action committee, is designed to inform individuals on how to engage government officials and better understand the responsibilities of serving in public office. Every year the program graduates individuals representing a cross-section of the area who go on to improve the region and advance their own professional goals. Academy instructors include current or past officeholders and leaders from regional businesses and institutions, each bringing a wealth of expertise on leadership and public service. Sessions will be held on Mondays from January 16 to March 20 and are generally 2 hours in length. Click here to view a flyer that includes the course schedule and other information about the Academy. An information session will be held on December 8 at 8:00 a.m. at the Chamber’s offices at 300 Madison Avenue, Suite 200 in downtown Toledo.
