Karen L. Fraker, APR April 26, 2016 419-367-1055 IT’S TIME TO NOMINATE AN OVER ACHIEVER! 20 UNDER 40 Leadership Recognition Program Seeking Nominations by June 13 Sponsors of the 20 Under 40 Leadership Recognition Program are accepting nominations now through June 13, 2016 for the 21st anniversary year of the event that salutes young, dynamic leaders of our region under the age of 40. The 20 Under 40 program focuses on individuals who have distinguished themselves in their careers and/or as volunteers in the community. It is intended that the program will further motivate young leaders in our area. Nominating is fast, easy and a great way to recognize deserving young leaders. Minimal information is required—name, company and email address. To submit your nomination, go to www.20under40toledo.com and complete the electronic form by Monday, June 13. To be eligible, candidates must be under 40 years of age as of June 30, 2016. Those nominated will be required to complete a profile with information on their career, achievements and community involvement. An independent panel of judges then selects the 20 candidates for recognition. “For over 20 years we have received hundreds of nominations for individuals whose abilities and achievements are noteworthy. While only 20 can be selected, by virtue of nomination all candidates are considered winners,” said Dave DiManna, Plante & Moran, a long time sponsor of the event. “We encourage the community to continue to recognize over achievers by nominating them.” The 21st Anniversary Recognition Program will take place at the Valentine Theatre on September 26, 2016. Special recognition for those recipients celebrating their 5th (2011), 10th (2006), 15th (2001) and 20th (1996) anniversaries is planned. Go to www.20under40toledo.com for a complete list of past awardees. Previous awardees who no longer receive the nomination and event mailings are encouraged to email 20under40toledo@gmail.com with updated contact information.
