Toledo Repertoire Theatre

We used to come and watch The Christmas Carol every year when I was small so this theater offers me nostalgia. It's small so you always have a good view. The seats are comfortable and it smells like church. Wood polish and coffee. They offer snacks and drinks in the basement during intermission and have a private parking lot. There are stairs up to the theater and down to the basement. I am unsure whether there are any other entrances that are accessible being as this is an old building. Great affordable public theater.

I have seen several shows at the Toledo Repertoire Theater. A quaint no thrills theater that puts on some excellent productions. 90 years and still going strong.

Community Theater at its finest.

I had the pleasure of watching a production of Sunday in the Park with George.
This cast gave their all. Such a colorful and moving experience.
I was moved to tears several times.
I'm looking forward to seeing more and would love to take part someday.

Beautiful building in Uptown. I've been to several productions. Great community theater and the prices are very reasonable. Several good places nearby to eat at before the show and parking is free in a fenced lot if you can find it.

Biggest complaint is it isn't accessible so if you can't handle stairs don't attend. You need to walk up stairs to get to the theater and the restrooms are in the basement and there is no elevator.

Parking is free and a fenced in lot but the lot is very small so plan on getting there early or parking in a paid lot nearby

Other major complaint is no bike parking. I live in the old west end and there is a new cycle path two streets over and a neighbor and I decided to bike downtown for a couple cocktails and dinner in uptown before going to our performance last summer since the weather was nice and the parking lot is small. We found out when we got there that there are no bike racks or anyplace to lock our bikes up at so we had to go a few blocks over and lock our bikes up there. Seeing the arts commisson crafted bike racks all through downtown and uptown, I'm surprised they don't have one there.

Very charming, small but well kept up. The actors for "A Christmas Carol " were FANTASTIC!! Especially the ballerinas. I think this play happens in every year so I suggest you go and see it. It was very nice 100/10 definitely recommend.

Great Toledo venue for aspiring artists. Here to see my granddaughter in "Bugsy Malone". MY only complaint is that this place is NOT handicap accessible. If you are in when chair or have problems with stairs,this not the place for YOU. With a recent knee surgery and another bad knee, I barely made it...

We've seen 3 plays here now. All were done wonderfully. Black Cloister and other restraunts are just a couple minutes walk away: come support a local gem and the arts. Plan a nice evening around a show and live a little

DO NOT let the parking lot or vacant buildings around this place stop you from attending. We attended the Aesops Fables performed by KIDS and were blown away by the talent. This was our first time attending this small local theater and will now be attending more often. We have been from coast to coast for theater shows so I would say we can judge a good performance when we get one. If this is the talent they put out with their kids I cannot wait for an adult performance.

Families.... this is cheaper than a movie as they give a kid rate!!
