Event Description: Maumee Valley Country Day School is presenting Issue Day, Friday, March 3, 2017 in the Millennium Theatre, at MVCDS, 8:30am – 3:00pm. The theme is global justice. The title of the day is "Do Justice: Balancing the Scales". Schools in the Toledo area are invited to send students. The keynote speaker is John Mueller, a senior fellow at the Cato Institute. He is also a member of the political science department and senior research scientist with the Mershon Center for International Security Studies at Ohio State University. A leading expert on terrorism and particularly on the reactions (or over-reactions) it often inspires, he is the co-author (with Mark G. Stewart) of Chasing Ghosts: The Policing of Terrorism, published by Oxford University Press in 2016. He is a political science professor at The Ohio State University.
